На запад граничи с Пакистан, югозапад с Гуджарат, на югоизток с Мадхя Прадеш, на североизток с Утар Прадеш и Харяна, а на север с Пенджаб. Неговата площ е 342 239 км². Столица на щата е Джайпур.
